You'll love these soft chewy cookies loaded with chunks of
PETER'S chocolate.
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup Blue Bonnet stick, melted and cooled
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. salt
2 cups chunks of Peter's chocolate
Mix brown sugar and melted margarine. Stir in egg, vanilla,
salt, soda. Mix in the flour and then stir in chunks of
Peter's chocolate.
Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 9-11
minutes until edges are slightly brown and centers are still
soft.
THIS
IS AN EASY SWEET AND SALTY SNACK IDEA.
You can use any variety of chip. Corn chips, Sun chips,
Pretzels etc. You could also add Chex cereals.
Put desired amount of Peter's chocolate in a glass
bowl. Using microwave, melt for 1 min. at a time,
stirring after each minute.
Put chip mixture in a large bowl and pour chocolate over
top, stirring it to cover the chips.
You can make variations by adding peanut butter or
caramel syrup to the melted chocolate.
Pour out on cookie sheet lined with wax paper and set in
fridge or a cool room to set up.
CHOCOLATE
Everything
tastes better with Peter's chocolate. Use your
creativity to make a variety of edible centerpieces and
gifts.
Melted
Peter's (milk or dark) chocolate make and excellent
fruit dip. For a quick dip, put a chunk of Peter's
chocolate in a bowl and place in microwave. Cook for
1 Minute. Remove and stir. If the chocolate is
not all melted, cook 30 seconds at a time, stirring in
between each heating. It should only take 1-2
minutes, depending on the amount of chocolate.
Peter's
Burgandy (dark) chocolate and fruit makes and excellent
topping for waffles, pancakes, etc.
